How Does This Sound? Professional Audio and Home Theater Design Services was originally formed in the year 1996 in Kansas City, Missouri, by William H. Jackson. At that time, the company was known as Clarity Concepts, specializing in the installation of professional audio systems for churches, auditoriums, and civic centers. After several years in business on a part-time basis, and after investigating the current market trends, it was determined that diversifying the business direction to include home theater and associated residential applications would be a worthwhile venture.

How Does This Sound? Professional Audio and Home Theater Design Services is now a partnership registered in the State of Missouri. The Managing General Partner, William H. Jackson, the managing general partner has over 20 years of experience with electronics and the design and installation of sound and video systems.

Upon leaving college, Mr. Jackson's initial job was with Coffeen, Fricke and Associates, Inc. accepting the position of CAD drafter. In accepting this position, he was able to learn from the foremost acoustical design company in the country. Shortly, thereafter, he was promoted to head of the CAD department. During his time at CFA, he asked questions of the design engineers, and learned as much as he could. Upon leaving CFA, he began to work at numerous engineering companies, but one thing remained constant, he desired to be an entrepreneur. His burning desire to be the best, and learn as much as he could continued to drive him. In January of 1996, he was able to realize his lifelong dream of owning his own business.

Clarity Concepts was established from the desire to help ministries improve the overall sound quality of their sound systems, while at the same time feed Mr. Jackson's love and desire to work with electronics and sound equipment. Mr. Jackson worked on his business part-time while continuing to maintain a full time job, and was able to land several projects that he is proud of to this day.
